Hi there! Well Rio can be dangerous but generally it isn't that bad there are much more dangerous places in the world than Brazil or Rio. As long as you don't wonder off down any dark ally ways or quiet roads in the early hours of the morning you should be fine. stick to the busy areas and nothing will happen to you. If you are unlucky enough to get mugged just give them what you have. Brazilians are not spiteful even the muggers. Stay in the south of Brazil for you first trip. Get a bus from Rio to Paraty which is a wonderful old Portuguese town while you are there you can go Tridade which is Half hour away on a bus (wonderful beaches) or mambucaba which is half hour in the other direction (wonderful beaches) There are hundreds of islands and deserted beaches to discover. You'll have a good time in Paraty and you will fall in love with Brazil. Try to book your accommodation well in advance though because of it being during carnival. Have a wonderful time! Anyone else think that Certified Nursing istants (CNA's) are severely underpaid?

I am soon going to be a CNA, and I think that we are greatly underpaid. At my hospital, you start off at 9.79 and go up a dollar after 3 months. And you get an extra dollar is your part time. We do all the work, change, feed, bath, take them to the bathroom. EVERYTHING. While the nurses, who start off at 23 an hour, just p out Medications? I think Cna's should be paid a lot more. AT LEAST 15 dollars an hour. And minimum wage here is 7.40 if your over 18.

Just use feminine wipes whenever you notice the odor. That will fix it. I notice that when I sweat I get an odor as well. I fixed the problem by using wipes and carrying the travel sized ones in my purse. :-)

I am not sure of this but going on the idea that these raw grains are difficult to digest you body has to work harder to convert everything into usable energy and nutrients, therefore any nutritional value that the grains hold is not fully absorbed into your body. however you can eat the grains sprouted which allows the nutrients to be digested easier and also gives a greater diversity of nutrients.

AVG help with firewall?

I used to use MacAfee and switched to a trail version of AVGs top version. When I used to go to bed I would set my firewall to block all traffic. If I was downloading something I would set it inbound only. I can't do that with AVG. I would have to lockdown the whole firewall or each program wtf?! How do you block outbound traffic only? Poem Help (yzing a poem)?

First of all, the narrator is speaking to the object of the poem...the problem is that there is a great deal of ambiguity here. The title would suggest that the object of the poem is a wild horse, but the images suggest something else. The first stanza could be speaking to a person or an animal, the second stanza and following couplet looks like a person, but the image in the final stanza is more like a tree. Therefore I'd say that the "wild horse" is actually a person, and the final image is metaphorical in that it represents how the person shakes off that which had settled about it during a colder time, lightening its load and moving with the wind...a free spirit. The first stanza shows the preconception, how others expected the object to be, the second stanza shows that this was incorrect, and the third shows how the object is actually self-improving and a free spirit. The entire poem, when looked at in this manner, can be reflected back to the title, which also metaphorically makes a parallel statement, that of a wild horse shaking its mane...tossing off the way it was in a free manner to make it the way it wants it to be, free and easy.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question - my two cats are the first pets I've had as an adult. I have an 8 month old Abyssinian-mix named Zara who seems very small. We are trying to locate my mother-in-laws dad. All we know about him is that his name is Thurman Henry Doss, not even sure if that is the correct spelling. Carl Jung "Man and his Symbols" very, very, very benifitual, its old, only the frist 3 chapters are really worth it, because after that he kind of applies his theory alittle to much and sort of trys to explain EVERYTHING, thru archtypes and ooo so much other stuff, but thats not as important as what drove him that direction. Namly the falsehood of symbols, but you NEED to give that book a look, trust me. He was a student of good old Sigmond Frued who didn't like his approarch, of course neither did his daughter or most of the american culture, but again I digress, keep up the good work!

I have a PC set-up planned in the near future, and i am just pin-pointing how strong of a power supply i require. The newegg calculator recommends that i need around 530 watts. However, this is dis-including USB devices, cooling fans, and the like, so i am going to go a little higher than the recommendation: 550. But then this is merely a recommendation, so it is likely that some components may need the extra power sometimes, as i have read up. So i was thinking 650 W. I mean, it may be unreasonably high, but is there really any set back to having too high of a wattage?

Puppy eating raw hide?

We just got our 15 week puppy yesterday (toy breed) and he is most intrigued by his rope toy that has a piece of rawhide (pigs ear) attached to it. Rather than just chewing on it, he wants to eat it and seems to have ingested a small bit already. Is that normal? I thought it was just for chewing but will it affect him if he eats it? The petsmart people said its okay but I just want to confirm.

She should return within the 30 day period. I am sure the reunion wont last 30 days. I don't see how Medi Cal will know she is out of state anyway. She cannot use her Medi Cal anywhere else. Dell Inspiron 1525 Touchpad Problems?

My mother recently got a new Dell Inspiron 1525 and only a couple of days with it the touchpad just shutoff, for no reason what so ever. I doubt its a hardware problem, we do have a warrenty on it but I dont think we can survive 6 weeks of bordem. At the bottom right off the screen in the task tray or what ever you call it, there used to be a little icon telling you if your touching it or using the scroll and stuff but now its not there any more, and I cant seem to find the program to start it up again, but I see the program it in the uninstall menu in control panel though. Is there a soulution to this problem beside getting ourselfs a new one or doing a long process on startup and all that stuff cause we dont wanna screw up our PC. Thanks a Lot!!!

I think ism is mainly a myth that is propagated by special interest groups like feminists. Why isn't my hair growing back right?

And she cut it crooked basically, if you had looked at me from my front youd notice that the hair at the front is going higher and higher to the left of my head. Dungeon Mastering for only 2 people... help!?

I wouldn't worry about it.... you sound more than capable. I always felt it often more difficult to run a larger group vs. a smaller one. You could always run a NPC healer, etc. However, that can get annoying and you can often forget about the character. I'd say start out small and see what the group does. If they get in trouble with no healer... you can always have them stumble across a body with just one last gulp of a healing potion dangling in its hand. Then it always becomes a fun debate over who gets that last sip, etc. You could always have a NPC group in the dungeon ahead of the players. That way they may find bits and pieces of equipment as they trek through and/or come across already wounded monsters This way, if the monsters are too difficult... you have the power to already say that the creatures only had half of their regular HP's due to previous fighting, etc. Plus, dungeon creatures can always fight other dungeon creatures as well... its crazy and dark down there!

I have been taking Zoloft for almost three years now and take it to ease my anxiety disorder. I take the lowest possible dose. Recently I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping and have been hyperventilating much like I did prior to taking the medicine. When I get nervous, I focus on my breathing too much and I get worried about whether or not I'm getting enough air. It really takes a tole on my everyday life and makes me feel awful. I am currently on Thanksgiving vacation and have not been taking it at the time I generally do (in the morning with breakfast). Instead I have been taking it at around one in the afternoon or later, along with my other medications. I am on Ocella and Methylin as well. I was given a dose of Fluconazole two days ago, which is also when I started feeling anxious and having trouble breathing. I'm beginning to worry that there is a connection between the Fluconazole dose and my anxiety? Or is it simply because I am taking my medicine too late in the day. My mom suggested that I take another dose of Zoloft, but I'm worried that would make things worse. Would taking more be a bad idea? I'm freaking out and could really use some advice...

Pain in right calf muscle, on and off?

For months now I get on and off pain in my right calf. It feels better when I stretch the calf muscle (point heel out), and when I mage into the muscle, it feels like a lump or knot in there. It doesn't hurt to mage it. My doctor had my leg ultrasounded to check for DVT, and the tech didn't see anything. I know it's not exercise related, and it is made worse by sitting a lot, especially in a hard chair. It's never my left calf, though. Any ideas?

I then clicked 'Dress like NPC...Exterminator' and the sim didn't change clothes. I tried the other NPC clothes and it still didn't work. Why won't the clothing tester work?

See the doctor. I had to have a D&C 2 weeks after my daughter was born. I got my period 30 days later and then not again for 54 days. I called the doctor and we talked and he checked me out. he said sometimes after birth ( or miscarriage) and a D&C is involved, it takes your body several (3-5 months) for things to go back to the way it was before the pregnancy. Here is my situation, i am an english speaker and studied chinese for just eight months and now i am taking my biology course in chinese at the university. this is real crazy that most of the time i think i am not studying enough to master chinese as fast as possible cos this language is complicated with so many characters and you meet professors with different accents of which some of them speak local languages. i can understand 60-70% in subjects like Zoology and botany but when it comes to chemistry is a problem, i can't just understand anything and most of the time i get headache. do guys think i am lazy and need to study hard? ya i can speak pure chinese now but listening is still a problem and of course i can write chinese but not as fast as the chinese.

I'm still a novice rider but not a complete beginner and my horse/pony. I believe she is a pony at measuring 14.1/14.2hh. She loves to jump because that's what she specializes in. Recently, she has being getting quite whizzy, especially with another horse in the arena, so I'm trying to avoid that. I'm gonna try some exercises to try and stop her from guessing what she's gonna do and just wait for my command. She knows exactly what she's got to do she was show pony and knows how it's done but she has now started to after a jump bring he head down when landed and what I believe she's trying to do it grab the reins out of my hand, it gets difficult to guide her where to gow when she does it. I like her enthusiasm to work but I do want her to concentrate alot more. I mostly blame myself because I don't know what the actual problem is. She wears a flash, martingale. How can i correct her when she does the pulling thing? Once i asked for a trot (with another horse in the arena) she cantered around insanely and took me a while to stop her. (i wasn't telling her to stop correctly) I'm still learning. So basically, does anyone no some tips and expeshially some exercises to do in arena and change up the same old boring work we do. Can I operate a boat or PWC while my license is being processed?

But anyway, in my state it is illegal to operate a boat or Personal Watercraft (Jetski) if you don't own a license and were born after 1982. But I have completed the course, and given my credit card information to myBoatEd, and the message was my license would arrive in a few days. Now here is my question, my family is coming with their boat on Wednesday of this week , and we are headed to the lake. Can I operate a boat or jetski at that time if my license doesn't come in the mail, because I ped the course and my license is being processed? Army Reserve questions?

AIT is advanced individual training and yes, it is like school. you go for 6 - 8 hrs a day, depending on the MOS. Look into if you still get the gi bill with taking the loan payoff, i know 4 yrs ago i couldn't so i took the gi bill. not sure about the aes loan. yes to the federal loan. army reserves is different with TA(tuition istance, reimbursement) than active duty was. reserves, they only have so many slots available to pay and it is first come, first serve. i have heard of people just being out of luck with that. active, i did earmyu and it was pretty awesome. plus, either one it is only tuition that is reimbursed, you have to take care of fees and books. earmyu you do not have to worry about anything, the per credit hour rate is a little higher to pay for the books and fees. active, they give you a duty station, you do not have any say usually. reserves is the closest one to where you live and if they need your mos there. i have never seen a 1/7 contract. i have seen one guy who got 2 active, 6 inactive. most are 4 active 4 inactive or 6 reserves 2 inactive. i did active for four years and now i am in the reserves for 2. i have the gi bill and live in a state that pays tuition, so i do not have to work. i had an ociates when i joined and took cles while in, so i have a yr of my bachelors to finish and then I am going for a masters, and will still have another semester of my gi bill. i don't think many people get things broke during training, unless you fall flat on your face or run into something. most people get stress fractures in their shins from running though. I think that doing active duty was worth it for my schooling. reserves doesn't pay as much when you go to use the gi bill. hope that helps.

How to display an antique crochet?

We have a family heirloom crochet piece (large... almost 3 foot tall by 6 foot wide) and want to frame it so we can display it without worring about damage. My local frame shops say they cannot get archival quality matboard that wide so if they mount it there will be a noticable seem in the middle. So, I began researching and learned how to "couch" by sewing around the key points of the patterns and thought I'd buy acid-free fade/bleed resistant cloth to sew to and mount that to a pieced together foamboard to have no seams. I have not been able to find such a fabric after nearly a month of searching. To make matters complicated, the room where we want to hang it has a burgandy color scheme, so we are looking for a burgandy fade/bleed resistant fabric. I am confident we can get the frame built and have a source for the uv blocking gl, however, I cannot find the fabric. Does such a thing exist or am I going down a wrong path? What should I do to preserve this and display it?

How long will my ears feel plugged up?

A week ago I was told I have a double ear infection and was given antibiotics. My ears have felt plugged up and I recently returned to the doctor b/c this feeling of being plugged up in my ears has been happening for 2 weeks now. I was told to stop taking decongestants and he prescribed Allegra, an antihistamine, that should help dry up the fluid in my ears. Here's the deal. I am having so much trouble hearing others that I feel like I'm now hearing impaired. It's terrible. I can feel my heartbeat in my ears but no pain and I'm simply muffled. How long will this last? Will Allegra really help? I'm totally desperate here.

Damn, tommowerr, Well this is my 2nd year of track i also run 800 with 2:06 and 400 with 53 secs, but what i would do for the 800 I would sprint around the corners and when you come to the straight aways, stride it until you get to the next corner and sprint it agian, after you reach the peak of your corner, just run the last 400 meters of the 800 , your 2nd lap should be as good as the 1st lap. For the 400, sprint the first 200, but don't go all out, when you get to the last 200, just burst out sprinting and don't try to think about the finish line just keep going. For the 100, can't help with that, I'm not a sprinter. Good luck, I have faith in you too.

I owned a 05 Grand Prix GTP w/ comp g. It had a 3.8l OHV Supercharged V6 4spd auto, putting out 260hp and 280 lb-ft torque. When manually shifting the car via tap shift paddles I could never overtake another vehicle in 4th. I always had to downshift. I bought a 07 Saab 9-3 2.0T saloon. It has a 2.0l DOHC Turbocharged 4 5spd auto, putting out 210hp and 220 lb-ft torque, but if I want to overtake another vehicle in manual mode, I can do it in 4th or 5th and it accelerates faster than the Grand Prix did. Why is this?

Thyroid replacement meds do not usually cause urinary tract problems or blood in the urine,which would cause the pink tinge. It sounds to me as though your dog has some sort of infection or cystitis.
