What to do if someone contacts you and you don't know them?

delete the person, don't add anyone else unless you know them for sure, and send the link to the application to your antivirus protector so they can check it out. they'll be able to tell you where it came from and possibly who sent the email to you. as for the shadowy figures, I think that's just anxiety. whatever you do, dont post anything like your phone number, address, or any other personal info online. even in a private profile. It's too risky because of all the hackers. sometimes immature people will make two or three accounts just to screw with someone's head. that might be what happened. if you get more emails like that then it's probably what's going on. have a friend walk with you to school for awhile if you're afraid of someone stalking you.
