Gonzales, Mueller admit FBI broke law with USSR Patriot Act. Will Bush's KGB Patri-spy act continue?

Brrr-- I shiver every time I think of the Patriot Act. How any resident of this country can justify the suspension of Constitutional rights is beyond me... I had a friend from church who's a college student, and was doing a research paper on how easily terrorists can spread information. He had his "confidential" library records at the college scanned by the FBI-- to make sure he wasn't helping anyone. They had no warrant. The only way he found out about it was that an employee in the library's circulation department told him. That the government can slip in and out of our private lives without notice or court order is frightening...
