San bernardino safe area where i live?????

just moved in a duplex 1 bedroom for 650 a month , but when i tell people where i live they call this area little africa and that where i live is the drug capital of san bernardino does any one who live in san bernardino got any other info that i might need to know im a waterman and baseline
