The 1920’s were a wild time period that was consumed by paranoia of communism. The United States was in shambles ounce the great depression hit. Many hate groups were formed to repel immigrants from the country. One of the most iconic terrorist organizations at the time was The Ku-Klux-Klan who had risen back to power since they formed in 1865. The Ku-Klux-Klan was detrimental to race relations because they employed terror in pursuit of their white supremacist agenda.
