Is there a good chance that we can block "Immigration Reform" (code for amnesty) until the midterms?

The healthcare debacle has kept it off the radars so far. No one is talking about it, which is a good thing since the pro-illegal immigration factions probally only have a realistic chance of ping something before the midterms...when a huge change in power is predicted to happen. Can we hold it off for just a few months?
