Could these factors cause low self esteem in a young woman?

Say there is a female college student in her early twenties. Her father died when she was young, her mother had serious drug problems for most of her childhood, and she was ually by a male relative when she was 14. She is physically fit and pretty, people tell her she should be a model. She is academically smart, and mature for her age. But she doesn't believe anyone, she constantly feels less than. She also has issues finishing things she starts, such as cles, hobbies, or work. She quits her jobs a lot. Could this stem from a subconscious feeling of inadequacy due to the trauma during her childhood? Thanks
