Why isn't my hair growing back right?

My mom cut my hair a long time ago , well a couple months back. And she cut it crooked basically, if you had looked at me from my front youd notice that the hair at the front is going higher and higher to the left of my head. So after all this time my hair keeps growing, i get haircuts, and it always looks as if the left side is still messed up. I compare the 2 sides and I do see a distinct difference. Can someone answer me why my hair isnt growin back right? And my hair grows REAL fast. And ive already had plenty of haircuts so im sure barbers wud have noticed it was uneven and wudve evened it out by now. And im 16 btw
