Can I operate a boat or PWC while my license is being processed?

Hi, I'm 14, last week I completed my Boating Course, and I used the myBoatEd test. Please don't say it isnt legitimate in your answer because it is. But anyway, in my state it is illegal to operate a boat or Personal Watercraft (Jetski) if you don't own a license and were born after 1982. But I have completed the course, and given my credit card information to myBoatEd, and the message was my license would arrive in a few days. Now here is my question, my family is coming with their boat on Wednesday of this week , and we are headed to the lake. Can I operate a boat or jetski at that time if my license doesn't come in the mail, because I ped the course and my license is being processed? I am a licensed boater , but I just wont have the certificate of title. Help me out ? Thanks
